I worked a lot in South America, I loved the continent, and especially the people. I lived for many years in the Amazon area of Brazil, my work as a research botanist took me there, as there were so many species to examine. There were, and still are, areas that have not been explored, also many plants that might have medical properties, still to be found.
I do not take pride, in seeing how man marches on for the sake of progress. I have seen it many times around the world. Our civilization, of burger bars and alcohol, can, in a few years wipe out, a tribe, or culture that had been strong for years. It is like the people are confused by the alcohol we exchanged for their land.
The sad reason for this is trees, the wood of the jungle, was needed to build our houses miles away, in another continent.
What I object to, is the forests were not properly managed, trees were felled , but not replaced. There should have been better organization.
Assignment Help Australia – I liked being in the deepest part of the jungle. There were still tribes living there, who had not seen white people, I became known to them, and we made friends. I tended to keep away from the tribes that were not friendly. I met a tribe that was hidden well away, known as the invisible tribe, they were difficult to see as they colored themselves, in brown and green stains.
I met the tribe by chance, I did not see them. However they shot me with a poisoned dart from a blowpipe. I was poisoned, and then carried back to where they were living. It did not take long for the effects of the poison to wear off. I noticed that there was food of all types, monkey, pineapple, snapper fish, and big nuts, all laid out on a flat tree , this resembled a farmhouse table. The blow pipes, bows and arrows were on display, on an upright piece of wood, like a welsh dresser. It reminded me of home, and, made me feel we were all the same big human tribe.
