Often being a beginner and young magician when we’re getting ready to step-up into that stage, we tremble so much. This occurs to me every time last time. But nowadays, I do have overcome this trembling after learning these tips. This has significantly reduced my problem in my magic show. This post is dealing with how one can gain confidence when performing magic show. This is essentially the most important part of being a great magician.
Confidence comes through knowledge and confirmation. You will have to make sure of all things will end up fine. If you happen to haven’t practice enough, your thoughts is going to take over and your confidence will drop. On the other hand, if you practice hard enough, you’ll definitely have confidence. It’s all in the head.
Confidence might be more associated with a mood and psychic condition a lot more than the amount you practiced. You should inject the mood to feel confidence. Another point you should remember is don’t worry too much. Stop thinking about your audience.
Develop presentation that will fit your style, these are where your confidence will boost. If your presentation is something that best suits you, you feel much comfortable because that presentation is all dealing with being yourself.
As they say, practice makes perfect. Let’s say that you are practicing a sleight. Do just that repeatedly, the task will come as an auto pilot for you. You don’t need to focus on the sleight. This will certainly increase your confidence. You can easily concentrate in your presentation this way. The best possible way would be to practice and rehearse everyday so that the presentation will happen as automatic to you.
As a magician, we do have typically what we call a bad day. If you happen to get no response from the audience, it is not necessarily a failure. It’s simply called feedback. Think of it that way. Take advantage of this feedback to help you to improve your presentation.
Know what to do in case you screw up! Have always a backup plan. Think of a number of ways to get out of a situation when something fails. This will help in your confidence too.
Assignment Help Australia – Magicians often forget about this, but plan when you want an applause or other reaction from the audience! If you didn’t plan, an unexpected audience reaction can ruin your timing. This in turn can disturb your concentration, and makes you lose confidence. You must let them know that they are allowed to react. The simplest thing to do is to simply pause when the audience react. If you don’t plan for any reaction time, you will get a scattered applause. You definitely don’t want that.
Finally, don’t worry! Most importantly, be happy on your performance, if you make a mistake, just get on with the show. Nothing bad will happen. Just switch to Plan B.
